Welcome to Nicola Mowat - Driver Training

We are located the northern county of Caithness, in the far north of Scotland.

Established in 1987, Nicola has experience as a Grade 5 Department of Transport Approved Driving Instructor and is Pass Plus registered, Nicola Mowat Driver Training should be your first choice.

Other qualifications include:

• Member of Motor Schools Association of Great Britain.
   

• Member of Caithness Driving Instructors` Association.
   

• Holds a full Driving Licence for all types of lorries and buses and became a Road Transport Industry Training Board approved LGV Instructor.
   

• Holds the Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Transport.
   

• Teaches Category B + E (cars plus trailers).  Anyone who passes their car test after 1st Jan 1997 will have to pass a further test to enable them to tow large trailers.
   

• Offers theory test preparation.
   

• The average pass rate in the UK is around 44% but Nicola has always achieved a higher than national pass rate with last year`s figures at 82%
